Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-15g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, regulates the menses and disperses Cold.
With Gan Cao, moderates spasms and relieves abdominal pain.
With Wu Yao, for cold dysmenorrhea.
Wine-fried Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 3-15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Heat, soothes irritability, nourishes the Blood and calms the Spirit.
With Dang Gui, for irregular menstruation.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 4.5-15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and relieves pain.
Rz. Cyperi Xiang Fu 6-14g Spreads and regulates Liver Qi, regulates menstruation and alleviates pain.
Rx. Linderae Wu Yao 3-10g Promotes the movement of Qi, alleviates pain, warms the Kidneys and disperses Cold.
Rx. Aucklandiae Mu Xiang 1.5-10g Promotes the movement of Qi and alleviates pain.
With Wu Yao, for lower abdominal coldness and pain.
Rx. Dipsaci Xu Duan 6-21g Tonifies the Liver and Kidneys, strengthens the sinews and bones, promotes the movement of Blood and alleviates pain.
With Du Zhong and Chuan Niu Xi, for deficient Kidneys or Cold-Damp Bi causing low back and leg pain and weakness and contracture of the leg muscles.
Hb. Taxilli Sang Ji Sheng 9-30g Tonifies Liver and Kidney Yin, strengthens the sinews and bones, nourishes the Blood and calms the womb.
Stir-fried Cx. Eucommiae Du Zhong 8-16g Tonifies the Kidneys and Liver, strengthens the sinews and bones, aids the smooth flow of Qi and Blood and tonifies Kidney Yang.
With Xu Duan, tonifies the Liver and Kidneys, strengthens the lower back and secures the Chong and Ren channels to treat aching in the lower back and knees, weakness of the legs which makes walking difficult and especially threatened miscarriage due to instability of the Chong and Ren channels.
